Stay at The Shores at Las Gaviotas

We had an awesome stay at The Shores at Las Gaviotas in Tamarindo! The condo is a corner unit with a big front porch that overlooks the front forest, and it quickly became a favorite hangout spot. Tons of seating, a dining table, great shade, and loved starting the day here with a fresh cup of Costa Rican coffee in the morning. The location is perfect — quiet and safe on the edge of town, but still super close to everything. The beach is less than a mile away, Starbucks is about 0.6 miles if that’s your thing, and there are great local restaurants and bakeries just a short walk away. The private pool area is incredible. Inside, everything was spotless, the two bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for us, and the AC absolutely cranks — which was amazing on those really hot days. The Ohana team was fantastic. Communication was easy and right on time, and their concierge helped arrange airport pickup and our return ride which made the whole trip super smooth. They even offer grocery delivery and can help plan excursions. Huge benefit! We’d 100% stay here again and highly recommend booking with Ohana. Such a great Tamarindo stay!
